Projectile weapons week
It's my favorite week of all. For normal classes, you have either the ninja throwing stars, or blow darts. For Black Belt Club member classes, they get additional projectile weapons like archery and others that are a little more longer ranged. Not that I'm jealous of them anyway. I've been already taught about the basics about archery by my friend. Last year, because I only go tho the class once that week instead of 2, I only get to try out throwing stars.
TUESDAY'S CLASS:
Today, we've reviewed our forms and gun self-defenses. I learn that most of the green belts are moving up to red belts. That doesn't bother me none. What bothers me, is that I'm going back to Malaysia next week, which is stripe testing and graduation week. Then, at the end of class, we get to try out the weapons. I didn't do the throwing stars for 2 reasons: I've already done it last year, and that my joint is hurting since Saturday. I don't know why it hurts, maybe it was from last week's board breaking week, or I didn't sleep correctly. We've got 5 tries, it was easier than I thought, because of the width of the barrel. My best hit that day is right between the yellow (center), and red, which is the one before.
WEDNESDAY'S CLASS:
Most people there that day is on Black Belt Club theme class. So only me & my friend Dustin are in it. We did the same thing that we did yesterday, except with one thing out of usual. I found out I won the raffle tickets for my age group. So I get a free nun-chucks. It's a black foam nun-chuck with a dragon going down the side. Although people usually fight with 2 of these, I haven't started my weapons training yet, but I made up a few tricks from the nun-chuck forms I watched the black belts do after class. We did the blow darts again. Dustin chose the shorter one, although I preferred the longer on because I believed it's range is longer. Not that it mattered, because our firing range is no more than 25 feet. For each bulls-eye, you get 2 extra raffle tickets, you got 10 tries. Dustin got 1, I aimed more carefully so I got 3. So Dustin got 6 raffle tickets, 4 for class, 2 for 1 bulls-eye. I've got 10 total, 4 for class, 6 for 3 bulls-eye!

Sparklers at night
Me and my dad bought a total of 30 Sparklers fireworks on Saturday. Sparklers are fireworks in the shape of a metal stick that you hold. When ignite, the sparks starts to come out, and burn until it got over halfway through the stick.
We were planning to set it off that night, but my parents do not know where the lighter is. If my memory serves me, I think my brother played with it last time. But that was a while ago,and both of us had no idea where it was. So the next night, me and my pals at church went to one of my friends house who is currently in China, but his dad stayed behind. We have BBQ that night, but we left before sunset. Fortunately, he let us borrow a lighter. So that's how I have fun that night...

Is it real or fake?
At 1st look, does it look real, whether real laser or or computer generated, or is it just a toy still?
Put answers in comments, the final answer will come soon...

Breaking board week in martial arts
TUESDAY'S CLASS:
In the summer there's a variety of activities each week and this week is breaking board. Yesterday's class, we practiced the moves in the form Common Peace of Mind 3 that could be used for breaking boards. For the board breaking, I decided to use one of the hardest in my level, elbowing. You actually hit with the forearm so it doesn't hurt. But when I go up, I put all my strength to it, but after 3 tries it is no use. I could have switched to hammer fist but I ended up doing the easiest, palm strike.During the elbow attempt, I skinned my forearm a bit. When the black belts is going up, I was amaze with 2 girls. One smashed the board into 3 pieces, which is very rare. The other one did what I call it a cartwheel smash. You cart wheel once, when your foot is about to land, that's when it was suppose to hit, the first 2 attempts ended up with a miss, but the 3rd time was successful.
WEDNESDAY'S CLASS:
Today, there are only 3 of us in the class, that's because the rest of them are having a Demo Team practice for summer celebration in Woodstock Fair.We used most of our energy to do push ups, sit ups, and providing power to the forms multiple times. Today, I chose either cross-over side kick, or hammer fist to smash it. The results were surprising & frustrating. Side kick did not break the board, neither does hammer fist. For my hammer fist, I skinned my pinkie, and I hit my wrist bone most of the time and it hurts a while after. By that point, I could hardly do it. I couldn't even do a palm strike, which I did perfectly yesterday in one shot. Well, our instructor told me that I stopped on contact. That's is one thing I would disagree on. I did tempted to stop, but I didn't. Also she fell back when I made contact with the board she's holding. I knew but experience that the board wouldn't break if she followed with the momentum, she has to hold firm if the board were to break. So I ended up doing a stomp, which takes hardly any energy with 1 board. So I'm feeling lousy for the rest of the night.

Church teen group cook out & July 4th, Independence Day fireworks
On the night of July 2nd, it's the annual Independence Day fireworks in Putnam alongside of the Quinebaug River in downtown Putnam. For the last couple of years, we sat on a bridge to watch the fireworks, near the source of the fireworks. But this year is completely different. I'm going to the Tri-State Church teen group cook out at the pastors house while the rest of my family is going directly to the fireworks after dinner. 2 of my classmates are there, Jasmin & Courtney. We have some fun activities. Only 2 games, but fun. Both games are boys vs girls. the 1st game is the ultimate Frisbee game. Is basically like soccer except whoever has the Frisbee has to stay where they are and have to pass to their teammates toward the goal area. If the person drops it, your team's turn is over. The guys totally won the game. We played until it got accidentally thrown deep into the part of the house with tall grasses, and there's also a small ravine, or whatever it was called, blocking the way.
The next game is a little harder, volleyball. I know for a fact that some of the girls are playing volleyball for their school team and I thought we are going to fail this one. And it seems like it is, the girls got an early advantage. But this time, God is on our side. Thanks to our teen group leader Brother Steve, we are able to get many points, and we stay in the lead 'till the end.
Then, comes dinner. I have hot dog, marshmallows, and a coke for dinner.I took pictures of Courtney & Jasmine.
Then, after prayer, we are off to Putnam to watch the fireworks. I've been to every one of them. Usually our family arrives there about an hour or 2 before the fireworks to look around, and we watch the fireworks on the bridge, close to where the fireworks are setting off. This time, it's different, we took a shortcut I didn't even know of there. Bro. Steve knows the way even without the GPS. We ended up at the New Alliance Bank, right across from the familiar Putnam Supermarket. We watched from right in front of the police department. Closer from the source of the fireworks, closer than I would have preferred but that's OK. It turns out, we arrived barely a few minutes before it starts.
When it starts, I took a few precious seconds to get my camera and my position ready, and I filmed all the way without stopping. Meanwhile, my parents are on a hill behind Price Chopper supermarket, in front of my martial arts school, where the school's having a cookout as well. My mom did the filming, cutting the firework show up into segments, that's what I think made mom missed most of the last unexpected round of fireworks. Speaking of that, back to me please. The round of fireworks is over, or so I thought. I was about to stop the camera when I heard another round of fireworks being launched. I point my cam to the sky just a split second before it explodes. Then it's over around 30 minutes and 40 seconds after it started.

You had wonder why I didn't get my own pictures of the cookout and my own video of the fireworks, that is because that my autistic brother had foolishly deleted ALL of my pictures just to randomly record movie scenes.

Last day of school/field day
Yo, I almost forgot writing my last day of school. It was on June 21st, the same day that the 7th & 8th grade field day is taking place. This time, instead of homeroom that makes a team, we are randomly chosen into different groups. I got my writing teachers group, Ms. Barnat. First, we have kickball against Mrs. Audet's group. A version of baseball except we're using bouncy 4-square ball. We've totally got the upper hand from the start, so you can say we won this game.
Next is always my favorite, dodgeball. Except this time, once you get hit by a ball and you are out, you stay out, there's no way you can get back in. We won most of the games, we've played around 4-5 games. Like last year, in one of the games, I was the LAST ONE STANDING. This time though, some of my own teammates even told me to give up, we could start another game! Well, I'm not the sort of person who gives up even though the chances of winning are pretty slim and we could start another. Unfortunately, it ended almost the exact same way as last year. Somebody caught my ball before it hit the ground. Except, last year I threw the ball like a baseball pitch straight in the middle, this time, I threw it a bit higher than I intended it to be, and Cody got it, that's the only game we lost. But I stayed in throughout the rest of the time.
Then comes capture the flag. This is a lot harder than the ones in gym because, there are more people defending & capturing the flag, and you have to run a longer distance to get the flag and back. Nevertheless, our teammates overcome the odds and win almost all the games, the only time we lost is when Bailey captured the flag. I did defending and rescuing the "prisoners" that are captured when they are attempting to capture and retrieve the flag. I never even try to get the flag because I know that I won't even make it back, even though I have maneuverability, I lacked speed, and that will be my downfall.
I forgot what the next sport is call, it something like a volleyball. Except that you have to catch it first, then throw it back to the other side, and also that if it hits the floor, the person closest is out. We've won most of the games and only lost twice.
Our group doesn't have time to do basketball and one other sport, because we have to move on. To a series of tug-of-war games. All classes from 7th & 8th grade gathered there for the game. 1st the 7th grade teams compete against each other. Our 1st game is against Hannah's group. Remember the picture I've taken on the field trip, the one with Molly? She's on the right. I will have to say this, she hates me more than anybody else does. Although I had tried countless failed attempts to turn her around, sometimes I turn to rivalry myself as well. So, we defeated her group easily. Next game against my own homeroom teacher's group was not so lucky.Several of our teammates had gone to take a drink and we don't expect them to start until they are back. But they started anyway. We are totally taken by surprise, we are defeated swiftly. I can't believe it, we are defeated at the hands of my own homeroom teacher. Her group ended up being the champ of the 7th grade group. Then the 8th grade classes go up next. My friends mom Mrs.Crawford is leading one of the groups, they become the champs of the 8th grade group. Then the final, ultimate game of 7th grade champs against the 8th grade champs is next. If you ask me who to root for, it's no contest. Expectantly, Mrs.Crawford's group swiftly beat Mrs.Rodgers. So, Mrs Crawford becomes the ultimate champion.
Then, after field day, the whole grade has to clean out the lockers. After is lunch. As my final lunch for the school, I have hot dogs, also there's a slide shows of pictures taken throughout the year. After recess, we are watching a movie called "The Astronaut Farmer."
Then, we can play or sign yearbooks in gym. Unusually weird, Molly wanted to sign my yearbook again even though she already sign it small a few days ago. So, she ended up having the largest & smallest signature in my yearbook. Before I'm outta there, I received hugs. Couple from Abby, then a final one from Ariana. Then I ended my school year. The difference this year is that I didn't cry on my way out. Not like last year, but I don't want to get into the details.

The Last Airbender Trailer - Official (HD)
A new movie is coming out! It is based on one of my favorite cartoons when I came here: Avatar:The Last Airbender. It is coming out very soon.
YUGI VS JADEN - BATTLE! Very funny
Caution: I rate this video PG due to brief language & crude humor.
But, as I said, it is very funny.
