Return trip from Malaysia

I woke up around 4 or 5 in the morning, and left Klang for Kuala Lumpur International Airport. We arrived around 6 to check in and to eat some breakfast, at McDonald's, at least, me and my brother ate there. My parents ate after we passed through immigration checkpoint. We got on our flight immediately after that. The restaurant is practically right next to the gate, and we saw our flight arrive at the restaurant window.

Our flight took off around 9:30 or 10. It landed at Hong Kong around 1:30 in the afternoon. There we have to do the unusual. My dad is seeing his friend & colleague and we have lunch with him. We passed through immigration with no problem, fast & easy. We've re-entered the immigration around 2 to 3 for our flight to Hong Kong at 5:30. The plane is newer than any I've ever seen. instead of a mostly white body, it is a mostly dark green one. It is a Boeing 777-300ER, and it will be "the future of Cathay Pacific..." as it said on the magazine on my previous flight. The ER difference in ER than the original 777-300 is that the wingspan is slightly bigger, I got it from the Boeing website. I also found from Wikipedia that ER stands for Extended Range.

This is a picture my mom took as we're flying out of Hong Kong.

Hey! Does anyone had seen 2 sunsets with a sunrise in between during a flight? I hope so. Because our flight is later than usual because of my dad's meeting with his friend. So the 1st sunset occurred right when we're in Russian airspace. I fell asleep a couple hours after because I'm so tired, so I missed sunrise as we passed over the Arctic. I  woke up when we're nearing Hudson Bay, I think it was afternoon, or something. We have a 2nd sunset when we're nearing U.S. airspace.

The 1st sunset taken by my mom.

Finally we landed around 8, by then the sun had already set. The immigration lines are very long. Although the line for Green Card holders & U.S. Citizens are longer, they are gone faster. Because U.S. is careful about security, their immigration is slow as a turtle. Compared to Hong Kong, U.S's immigration is at least 50 times slower than Hong Kong, in Hong Kong the line isn't very long and it only takes minutes for a family to pass through. So about an hour & 15 minutes later, we're still there. Finally we passed through. It takes another 10 minutes to grab our bags, check if we have goods to declare, and met up with our limo driver, is the same as last time. Finally it took 5 more minutes to get to our limo van.
By the time we got out of the parking lot, it was nearly 10 at night. I fell asleep again when we got out of the New York City area, my parents were asleep way before that. I woke up some where before Connecticut's capital, Hartford. Then a few miles before exiting the highway, we stopped for bathroom breaks & to buy some food. We got home sometime before 2.

Note: There is very little pictures for the last 2 blogs, because the pictures takes a very long time to load and to save, these are from my mom's
